Make sure you take out the retaining clip.

Acquire a new cartridge from a hardware store or directly from Moen. They’re free, lifetime warranty.

With the new cartridge will be a handy little socket to help you break the cartridge loose so you can pull it out. Instructions are also included if it’s still not clear

You can buy a Moen cartridge puller at Home Depot or many places, cheap.

However, it needs to be threaded into the hole where your broken screw is stuck now.

Like Matt30 said, If you use the plastic tool that comes with a new cartridge, it will let you twist the cartridge left and right, which begins the process of getting it free.

But first, you have to pull out the little horseshoe shaped retainer pin that you can see in all your pics.
It pulls straight up and out.
Looks like yours is already pulled out?

Then you should be able to pull out the cartridge with a pair of pliers, by pulling on the stem.

If still stuck, then you can lock a pair of vice grips (locking pliers), onto the cartridge stem.
Like you show in pic 7.

Then yank hard on the pliers, straight out from wall. That yanking impact should break it out. It might take several attempts.
Push the stem back into the wall, then again yank out hard. And repeat.

If your valve is poorly supported in the wall, this yanking can cause some damage to your tile or the pipe connections.

You could try carefully drilling out the screw, then using the Moen cartridge extractor.

You can find lots of videos of “how to remove stuck Moen cartridge” on Youtube.

If you mangled that horseshoe shaped retainer pin, you can buy those also.
Kit has three different clips, you only need the one with a hole at the top.

And you can easily find a new Moen handle with a new screw.

You can get all these parts at any good plumbing supply store, usually with more free advice.

Moen will send you the cartridge and clip for free, just say you are the original owner.
Don’t know if they will send a free handle.
Puller will not be free, but maybe you can rent it cheap from supply house or even Home Depot.

PS looks like your shower wall is maybe fiberglass.
If you support the valve with one hand, you can more safely try to yank the stuck cartridge free, with the vice grips firmly clamped onto the stem.

You can also buy the Moen cartridge in stores, if you can’t wait for a free one from Moen.
Only costs about $20.00.
Buy genuine Moen, not off-brand copies.
