I've come across this a couple of times where I will try and reply to a contributor's post copying some of the OPs message only to decide later that I don't want to respond with a reply. I leave the page, even log out of the forum only to find that my original attempted post is still in the 'cue'. How do I delete the message that I no longer want?

You can always backspace all the type and simply write delete, and I will remove it, or is it is a picture, you can go to edit, and remove the picture. Third option is to post it , immediately report it requesting "delete" and I will take care of it.

Delete the content, then click on small arrow to get this menu. Click on delete draft.
All gone.
