How do I eliminate sound of water dripping from humidifier drain line?

Hi, I'm trying to resolve an annoying issue I've had for a few years. I have an A/C unit with Aprilaire humidifier in my attic. The humidifier water flows through a PVC pipe that eventually drips to a shared, open drain at the floor of the room. The dripping sound occurs directly above my bedroom. What can I do to eliminate the dripping sound?

I'm afraid not.

You could measure how far it is from the pipe's opening to where the drip drops and then put an extension on the end of the pipe that almost touches where the drip drops. If I were doing it, I would heat up the pipe and then bend it a little bit so the drip will roll down the inside of the pipe before it exits.
