Hot water problem in kitchen

Hi, for the last week, in my kitchen the water will get really hot, for about a minute, And then cool down to luke warm and won't get hot again, I do not have this issue anywhere else in my house, what could be causing this problem. My faucet is a cfg single handle mixer faucet

Does this only happen in the kitchen????
Do you have a single handle faucet ,if so
Shut the cold water off under the sink and see if that make a difference
Some times they cause hot/cold crossovers
Just reread your post try shutting off the cold see what happens.......my coffee has not kicked in.......
