Should I take the time and money to remove them

I bought a house where the lay owner remodeled the kitchen and removed the hot water baseboard heaters. After doing some research, I found that he cut and capped the diverted tees that went to the heaters. With the research, I read that this is wrong, and you should remove any unused diverter tee. How big of an impact will this have leaving them in? Does leaving 1 in have the same impact as leaving multiple unused in?

Thanks

If you have a monaflow system he did it right. If its a regular set up the pipes should have been tied together.

I believe any type of monoflo type system is designed to split flows through the main line and the branch (to a radiator) line. By removing that branch line you would effectively be decreasing the total flow through the main line. Probably a negligible amount. Depending, I suppose, on the exact system and its design.

I had voted NO in the pole.
