Hose fittings for rheem tankless

Hi just hooked up my rheem 13kw tankless water heater and its leaking.
anybody recommend or have advice on what fittings i can use to stop the leaks?
The nipples are 1/2
and i got 3/4 adapters coming out then 3/4 to 3/4 push to connect hoses to pex
The pex is good just not were it connects to the nipples .

Did you wind the tef tape the right way?

Right i reworked it , put some tef tape and pipe dope . The leak is almost gone completely... just has a very little drip... might re do the tef tape and pipe dope again and tighten it more i guess .. this is why im not a plumber

The flex hose do NOT require any dope or Teflon. They rely on washers, so maybe you lost the washer.
