Hi. We moved into a new house installed with a water softener loop. We keep trying to get the right parts with no luck. We now have bought two sharkbite quick connect 1" x 3/4" hoses. But, the longest was only 2ft. We are a few inches short. What is the easiest solution to make it work? Not sure if the pvc loop is 3/4 or 1" either. Also, what's the most cost effective way to add stop valves. Thanks

The first thing to figure out is which way the water is traveling through that loop. The softener will have an in and an out.

Now that's an interesting way to rough plumb supply for a future water softener install.

No shut-off valves needed, just continue the run...
