Hello,
First-time poster here. I need some help please with a strange issue I'm having. I have a garage faucet with an Emco E-4X cartridge (I believe it's also known as a 54-195223/4157). I understand this is a common cartridge. Recently, when I open the faucet all the way, water shoots out from the joint between the cartridge and the faucet main body. I've attached a picture showing the area where the water shoots out from.
No problem, I thought, I'll just replace the cartridge. So I did, but the new cartridge (which is identical to the old one) has the same problem! If I only open the faucet 3/4 of the way, no leak; any more and there's a leak from the indicated area. I'm not sure what to do now! Clearly I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure it out. Would appreciate any help.
Thanks!
