IMG-2120.JPG I'm trying to source an old shower valve to replace the ancient one that has met it's end of life. Any ideas where I could find one of these? If I can't find one it's going to require ripping out the ancient tile that I probably can't fine either. Joy of an old house. See the pic attached. Thanks in advance for any input!

You can probably find everything to rebuild that one at a good hardware store. They should definitely have the cone washer, and something to repack the gland.

I have two similar assemblies on my downstairs shower, original to the house circa 1973. I’ve had to rebuild them a couple of times. The hardware store doesn’t have a complete assembly, but I can match up my old parts, from their parts drawer, and find what I need to rebuild them.
