Probably not. It possible could have integral stop valves on the rough valve in the wall but I doubt it.Thanks so much. Is there a way to plug this if something goes wrong? I have to turn off the water for the entire condo to replace this. I'm concerned that if I break the old unit getting it out and there's something wrong with the new one I won''t be able to turn the water back on until I can get another.
Did they send you both parts?
I hate Kohler parts. I have 4 bathrooms, each one has different everything. Different toilet, different faucets. Some designer thought they were being edgy, and it's just a PIA. I'm surprised the showers have the same mixer. Of course they were installed by chimps. In the other shower they covered up the service valves with gunk and I had to dig them out.I hate Kohler tech support. Half of them do not know their product.
I know why too.....
They’re so stupid.....I read that they have well over 100 variations on something as basic as a toilet fill valve.
There’s awkward silence on the phone when you tell them their parts didn’t work so I just went to the store and bought some sheet rubber snd made the old part myself.........The engineers who constantly change and update and make parts obsolete should be forced to try to repair their garbage themselves, to teach them how bad it is.
Even when things work, they are often over-engineered jokes waiting to fail.
