Hello identifying and how to remove shower handle

Hi,
I am new so my apologies if this isn't is the right forum.
I am trying to upgrade my old shower by replacing the handle but I don't know what brand it is (no mark anywhere) and I am unsure on how to remove it as there is no screw that I can see.

Look directly below the handle (perpendicular to the spout) there should be a small hole which will take a hex/allen key.

Also in that vicinity, you may find a logo or brand name. Could be Moen, but if it is it will say it. (I have a very very similar set up which drove me here for other reasons).

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I did check carefully and there is no hole or logo or brand name neither. It is very surprising but I did carefully look all around and nothing.

Did you try using a sharp knife to pop off the brass "dot" on the front of the handle? The screw is probably under there.

That's it. You could probably pop it off with your finger nail. Unless you're a women, that is.
