A dry floor drain in a hotel in Thailand (I think it was Thailand) started the Sars cov 1 event.

This is why I really hate when the auto-flush toilets are oversensitive and flush while I'm still on the toilet-- they usually splash me to add insult. LOL. If it's manual flush toilets, I don't bend over the bowl. I push the lever with my foot.

I had that happen to me the other day. I leaned back when preparing to stand up and it triggered the flush sensor. I then had to dry myself off again before getting up.

These days, it would be better to have a hard-wired vent running continuously too. Many public restrooms have little or no ventilation in small enclosed spaces, and inhaling what someone exhaled is the main cause of spread of respiratory illnesses. For flushing, I've tried to improve my reflexes, but that certainly isn't convenient. ; ) May have to try the tissue or start carrying tape.
