Flush handle is not working

Hello I'm not sure with it called, but this morning I tried to flush and the handle snipped and become loose, maybe the thing inside is broken, but not sure the handle the one I draw arrow to it.

Then I spent hours looking to disconnect it from the kit that is inside the tank but no luck I have draw a circle to show the kit. It does not come out and it's very tied.

How I can take this thing out to check what is causing the issue.
Also is this fixable or should I change the full system.

Looks like the blue (nut) takes the white plastic piece off and then the white nut takes the handle off
In the U.S on the back of the tank there are #s stamped or printed in the tank, you also need to know the manufacturer the name is usually behind the seat on the bowl

JUNK...Likely a new WC is the best choice.
