I'm new to forum. I have replaced 2 full valves, and returned one to the store. I bought the cheapest Fluidmaster model 400A, and the float would not work. Water kept running in overflow tube. I bought the next model up thinking 1st was defective. Now a week later and second full valve is under water and its running in the overflow tube. What's the chances of 2 defective fill valves?

Do you know how to take the fluidmaster apart and clean or replace the washer?? Sounds like you are getting
rust particles from the water under the gasket and letting it run.

I seen plumber do it, but I just replaced with a Korky brand and it works. I also replaced the line with stainless steel braided hose. Hope it works. Thanks for reply.
