I'm trying to remove a fiberglass soaking tub (without damaging it) in order to replace with a stall shower. I've removed all material (tile and sheetrock) around the tub to the point where the tub should only be attached to the drain, but the tub does no seem to move even the slightest bit in any direction. I'm suspecting that the tub was bedded in some kind of adhesive on the bottom such as thinset. Or is there something else I am missing?

Also, any idea how much these tubs usually weigh?

    Thanks, Mark

I looked more closely and the tub has feet that are secured by screws from under the sub floor.
