Hi All- I have returned a couple times to deal with an old style faucet with the flat black (rubber?) seats. First, I replaced with wedged seats which became a problem because the faucet handles would keep traveling further and they were hard to shut off. The flat washers work better so I’ve gone with them. Now I have a problem with the screws falling out. Ithought I knew how to fix these until now. Can someone go through best practice on this? Thanks!

The auto stores make a lock tite for threads that will come apart when needed with a screw driver.

The phillips screw holding the faucet handle in my shower would constantly loosen up and mama would constantly ***** about it. I got a small drop of Locktite Blue thread sealant, and have not had a problem since.
