I asked a plumber friend for advice and he sent he here since he doesn't do septic systems, and I'm hoping someone or many can get me straightened out.
We had our tanks pumped yesterday- 2500 gallons worth- and the first thing the lady said who came out after she removed the lid was, "Your pump is out." Sure enough, I pulled it out this evening and the wires going into the top of the pump were exposed and it arced when I moved the wire after getting it up and on solid ground. I shut the breaker off by the tank and opened up the panel, but I'd really like your opinions on how to wire in the new pump tomorrow and how to wire the alarm and switches in. I'm attaching pictures of what I'm working with.
I appreciate any words of wisdom and advice.
Thank you.
