empty house septic tank

The house we boughthas been empty for almost a yr if not more. I was wondering if i should do anything to the septic tank I can get to it easy. The lid is above ground but cant do anything till inspection. I was planning on getting rid x or something like it and use it before we move in. Thanks

Have it pumped out. Keeping the solids cleaned out before they can get into the drainfield is important.

Use rid x regularly its purpose is to keep bacteria that your various soaps kills you need bacteria to break down solids so your tank can run at maximum efficiency.
