Okay, Thank you for your input. I agree that sometimes ratings can be misleading. Can you explain how the Korcy adjustable valve works? What is the ring on the valve changing that causes the valve to close at different times?

The ring closes off a chamber in the flapper making it float longer. Opening the chamber allows water in and the weight of the water makes the flapper close.

You can close it off a little or a lot.....as you close it, the flapper will stay up longer allowing more water for the flush.

I found a 3" Flowmaster adjustable flapper valve on Amazon that I think will work. I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks again for all who responsded to my post. I installed the adustable flapper valve with the setting wide open, which allows the valve to close faster. After adjusting the water level in the tank to it's proper level, the toilet flushes perfectly and refills in much less time.
