Electric Water heater Element

I was just wondering if the flip back heating elements heated the water faster than the single elements. Would it be safe to assume you could take out the single put in an Flip back as long as you use the same watt?

Maybe just a little, but if it's the same wattage it wouldn't be much difference, and you can't exceed the wattage for the heater.
