Has anyone seen a similar setup? My husband is trying to figure out what we have going on and how to fix. He is also wondering why an airlock is not necessary.

We’re replacing the dishwasher drain line since it came unhooked months after getting a new dishwasher and was leaking. There are several hoses/pipes hooked up and we are unable to find a pic of a similar setup. (He cut the end of the blue-gray line to bring to Lowe’s.)

the tee is installed incorrectly, the branch of the tee(the part connected to the trap should be facing one of the bowls the top of the tee should connect under the other bowl, the bottom of the tee would connect to the trap
the gray hose should be clipped to the cabinet as high as possible
