I have mold/mildew growing in my sink faucets and drains (mostly pink but found some black slime today), and my toilets very quickly develop a ring after cleaning, even when not used (guest bathroom is almost never used by us). Is this more likely an issue with the city water source, our plumbing, or something I'm not thinking of? and what's a potential fix? Live in Durham, North Carolina if that is important for the water source.
