Hi,
I'm having a plumber replace my sump pump. Going with iON brand (still deciding on 1/3 or 1/2 HP). Those pumps come with a diaphragm switch, but I'm thinking of using a Level Guard instead. I can request an 8.5" diaphragm switch, but think the Level Guard should still give me more pump for my buck. Any reason to stick with the diaphragm? I'm not familiar with those switches, but I know they're preferable to a float or tether.
My sump runs year-round.
Thanks for any advice!
