Delta Shower head spraying at odd place

Greetings
I have the delta shower head in the picture.
it is spraying through the seam where two pieces come together
i took at apart and am not having much luck stopping the water from filling up this area and leaking out
looking for advice.

Probably just time for a new one.

Try one more thing before replacing head. Are the holes in the shower head clear and not restricted by scale? Sometimes this causes press connections to leak. But, I’m betting Jeff is probably right, replace it.

Delta cust svc will send you free parts, or will advise how to fix it.
Call them, emails don’t get fast response.

I’ve had this happen with a couple Delta heads. Just contact customer service and they will send you a new head. It cannot be repaired
