We launched a new custom plugin by request of a 'daily digest'. The first time the Unsubscribe link flat out failed, the fix today was not successful, a new fix was put into place so tomorrow morning when it runs, it will work just fine.

If you don't like it, please unsubscribe and you will never get it again. Unfortunately as it's a custom plugin just for our site, the ability to opt back in is not there. In the future we might consider adding it but for now opt-out is permanent.

Yes, please look in your spam folder and if you choose to be taken off this list, just follow the instructions at the bottom and unsubscribe.

I tried unsubscribing in everyway possible and I keep getting unwanted newsletter spam.

I couldn't send you a message via contact link because your stupid site tells me I didn't fill out the CAPTA verification field box.

THERE IS NO CAPTA field box for me to fill out !!!!

What the hell kind of site are you running?
You say your fixed it. IT ISN'T FIXED! I was told I already unsubscribed yet just got another "latest forum discussions" unwanted email.

EDIT: I've set all the preferences I can to not receive anymore unwanted updates. I had been receiving them daily. Very annoying. Let's see if this works. IT HAD BETTER!

I've sent your post to the head cheese. In the mean time, when you receive these daily updates, click on the hyperlink at the bottom of the page that says "unsubscribe", then log out, clear your cookies, then log back in. Hopefully it will take and they won't return tomorrow. I hope to get the head cheese to come in here soon, to provide different ideas.

I'm sorry you are having such issues. As havasu said Click on that HERE for unsubscribe at the bottom of the daily newsletter. Do it with today's. If havasu or I disable email here you will not receive anything by mail from this site again, including lost password recovery, etc.

The settings here have no bearing on the Newsletter.

As to the reCaptcha, that is on Question and answers, and is not needed via the Contact Us. I have checked the settings and tested as a Registered user.
This is what is seen when registering:
