Cold water in the morning

I have a Vaughn indirect hot water storage tank. No problem getting ample supply of hot water day or night. Problem occurs at 5am, early shower, not enough hot water. Some, but runs out quickly.
Any advice appreciated

When you can’t get enough hot water does the circulator pump happen to be off ? Or does it run continuously ? Or on and off with aquastat ?
