Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a recommendation on a good handheld CO detector. In the last few years, I've had two CO issues in my house, so I have several Kidde plug-in detectors around the house, but I'd also like to have a handheld detector.

I live in Canada and I see that Home Depot Canada has a Klein Tools ET110 detector available for a decent price. Would this be a good detector? Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I have a number of testers in my bag, and some quality tools when their task demands quality and reliability.

They are all Klein.

i believe that a co2 detector is now required by law in canada if you have a gas or oil furnace.

CO or CO2– they’ll both kill you! But carbon dioxide is generally not tested for in a home. Carbon monoxide yes, of course. Anytime there’s combustion, it can be a possibility.
