Apparently my 22 year old septic is not draining and we need a new field. I called,3500-4000 seems to be the average price depending if they have to haul the dirt away if it's put in the same spot for small yards.

probably a 375 or 500 area feild i've been told

But the first guy we talked to said we could have whatever we wanted the pipes or the "dome chamber things"(not sure whats is really called). But he said he believes the pipes work better. I've got to cut this short so...

What are the pros and cons of each?
Has anyone had problems with the chamber ones?

I believe they are talking about the Infiltrator system as opposed to a traditional drain field.

You can Google the pros and cons of each, or someone with more knowledge should chime in pretty soon.

They have been approved in many locations in Virginia. I actually had some contractors install nothing but these. For one it reduces the need for gravel. It also helps to disperse the water a lot better.
