I'm new to plumbing and is replacing the vanity in the bathroom. I try to remove the old P trap, but somehow after removing the nuts, I can't disconnect it. Is the highlighted part disconnectable? I nudged the lower part and try hard to pull it down, but only one side move a bit, maybe the other side is glued?

Highly unlikely you will be lucky enough that the assembly will work with the new vanity. A pro can easily refit for a tubular p-trap.
