Brand new shower backs up occassionally

Just remodeled our master bath and installed a shower in a new location. The shower has started to back-up. What has me confused is that it does not back-up every time. Just once in a while. Has anyone encountered this before?

Is anything else draining at the same time of the backup? Maybe some construction debris in trap partially restricting flow?

It happens when other items are draining and when nothing else is draining. I will check the trap to see if there is anything inside.

If it's happening when nothing is being used you should call your city or town sounds likethe street is starting to back up

I vacuumed out the trap and it seems to be draining fine now.
