Hi guys. I work for a power tool company and we are looking at expanding our plumbing platform. What are some battery powered tools you guys are using? (Augers, Pex tools, transfer pumps, etc.)? What do you like/dislike that's currently available and what are some things you would like to see?

Additionally, I'm curious if a lot of plumbers shop at Lowe's and Home Depot or predominantly elsewhere. Thanks in advance!!

My plumber had to install an airgap on a sink designed in the 1990's. The underside surface was uneven and not large enough to accommodate the bottom nylon nut which holds the airgap in place. He had to remove some overhanging plywood and ceramic tile. His tool of choice was a portable grinder similar to this one from Milwaukee.

My general contractor swears by the Bosch Starlock Oscillating Multi-Tool, both cordless and corded.

I own the equivalent tools made by Hilti, Makita, and others. The real challenge in home plumbing for the do-it-yourselfer is cutting through ceramic tile and marble. I'd be interested in seeing which tools the pro's use for that job.
