Hi All,
My bathroom sink has some hair line cracks that I am not sure if it is real cracks?. When I touch the surface by finger I feel a very smooth surface. No leaking. I have a feeling that is the Paint cracked under the clear coating?
Is there anyway to fix it? or it must be replaced?
Then sink is only 4 years old.
Here is the pic of the cracks

Looks like just “crazing” of the porcelain surface.
Hairline cracks usually caused by improper heating/cooling during the firing process.
You will see this in old dishes and cups also.

Not likely to leak, but not too nice to look at.

You could have the bowl refinished by someone who refinishes tubs, but much easier just to put in a new sink, or just live with it.
