Hey guys,

I recently did a DIY plumbing project and I know it was kinda wonky. The short explanation: The new counter sat up too high and I needed to get creative to connect the drain. See this video and it will show what I did:

My questions:
1) could it be our actual sink that isn't funneling the water quickly enough?
2) The setup I have under the sink seemed to work initially but is now causing problems, do you think that's the main concern here?

It looks like the sink backs up too quickly to be a problem with the drain. Pull the plunger out and run water, that will tell you if it’s the drain or the pop up that is causing the issue.

Thank you! That actually was the issue. Looks like I’ll just have to troubleshoot getting the drain cap raised up so the flow is better.

Once I took it off the water drained fine. I appreciate that tip!
