We are rearranging our bathroom layout so all waste lines will be replaced. The attached diagram shows the bathroom layout and the main trunk line layout as I believe most efficiently runs and allows the proper pitch of the pipes. There is an existing vent in the attic located above the black circle near the toilet. It could connect to the main line near the toilet as currently shown, but not sure that is truly proper. Obviously the tub and shower need venting, but I'm not sure what is the proper way to connect them to the vent stack by the toilet (so I have not attempted a solution).
I will be hiring a plumber to run the waste lines, but I'd like a better feel of how this should work before I talk with them. I have had shoddy contractors before and your feedback will give me the information I need to better evaluate my candidates.
Many thanks for your time,
Roger
