I replaced my clay pipe with pvc. I now need to backfill. I was filtering out rorck from the soil and backfilling around the pipe. Then wet it to compact it.
I have read that I should use pea gravel, crushed rock etc. What is the right procedure?
If i put gravel, it will be many many bags. Also i fear this may crack the pipe. I would need to fill in 6 inches of gravel in the trench.
