Hi we have had extreme cold temperatures for about a week now. Today some water came up in the basement. Went and checked the drainage field area and black water is coming out. Before the cold snap the water was clear. So my question is can septic tanks be pumped out in the winter it probably isn't full though we just had it pumped about 6 months ago. Not sure what to do with the temps -30 C being so cold can't dig up the drainage field with risk of it freezing up more. Any ideas or suggestions would be great thanks
