HI All,

Very basic question as I am completely new to DIY and this is my first very simple job.
I had a plumber install new taps on my bath which also have a shower head attachment. Please see the attached photos.
There is a very powerful waterflow into my flat and so I want to install an eco shower head instead of the existing shower head onto the shower attachment.
However, when I try and twist off the shower head it doesn't want to twist off. I didn't want to force it in case it is permanently attached and I break it.
So my question is if you look at the photos, can I take this shower head off just by twisting it off at the shower head join or do I have to replace the whole shower pipe and head
by twisting it off where the shower pipe meets the taps. Thanks.

Looks like there's two flat sides towards the hose side of the shower head. That cone-ish part will come off.

Get an adjustable crescent wrench on there good n snug. Keep your thumb on the wheel so it doesn't slip, and a little lefty-loosey should do it. It shouldn't take much, and once you've got it un-snugged, you can just undo it by hand.

Also, do it over a towel, because little parts or a rubber o ring might pop out, and roll away and get lost.
