AO Smith Water Heater ProMax Plus High Efficiency and Anode Rod location

Hi,
My water heater is 15 year old and never replaced Anode Rod. I was looking to replace it but I was not able to find Anode Rod location as mentioned in many youtube Video's ( On top, 1 1/16 screw). I will attach some photo and let me know where is location of Anode Rod.

The anode rod is attached to the nipple on the hot side. Why do you feel it needs replacing? If the tank is 15 years old it may soon need to be replaced.

Yes tank is 15 years old. Can you please show in picture where it is attached. I have attached picture of hot side as well. Does hot side pipe needs to be taken off ?

The pipe needs to be removed. Then the nipple it's attached to has to come out. The anode rod is attached to that nipple.

It looks like I have bought wrong rod too since most of cases mentioned on youtube talks about hex type screw. Anyway, thanks a lot for clearing this up.
