Two cast iron radiators on my hot water system share the feed and return. Not sure why they were plumbed this way, was like this when we bought the house. On the return side, right before the individual returns join together, there's a valve on each. I am guessing the valves should allow me to balance water flow between the two radiators. When I moved the valve handles, which probably hadn't been touched in some years, they both started weeping. To fix the weeping, I would like to change them, but can't even look for a replacement because I don't know what they're called. Anyone know? Photo is attached.

They look to be old brass ball valves. I don’t see why you couldn’t replace with new brass ball valves.
