Aerator line frozen?

We are in NE Tx. Been below freezing since Sunday. 0 last night! My concern is if our spraying line( leading from tank to sprinkler heads) freezes up, will the pump keep trying and burn up, or is there some mechanism built in to allow it to wait till it thaws?

I'd shut off the pump until the weather warms up, if you could afford to.
