hi,this pipe in the photo,wasn't bended by me,this is a part of a kit,I've only modified the pipes,cutted and welded,because the original kit it was made for a metal box,but I do not used this kit,I reinvented and adapted the kit for a wall..anyhow,usually I use two benders for copper,one is branded REMS,and is for uncooked copper,another called ERCOLINA,and this is for cooked copper..for iron I use another bender called MINGORI,anyhow there are many brands who make these types of benders,as rothemberger,ridgid,river and many more..welcome to the forum Knarlycarl!

it wasn't required..the thermostat valve is only for the comfort of the client
