    Makes sense. I'll give it a try. It's a gas heater. Tried Moen one more time today, and they suggested I turn the temp down on my heater. Therefore I wouldn't have to push my temperature so low. I don't think that conflicts with your theory. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'll try your suggestion first.
