I guess now is the time to ask...

BUy the right size pants and a belt, then it never happens. But it gives cartoonists something to draw so people know it is a plumber and not a carpenter, for example.

    Hello all... plumbing newb here

I was an IT guy at a university in Michigan, then I became THE IT guy at a local school system. Eventually it got to 60 computers in the classrooms and lab.

    A commercial water line install.

We do not worry about freezing, but we still use the ones with the bottom disc. It prevents "geysers" when someone snaps the barrels off, although it does ruin some good video footage.

    Comercial Clean outs?

The codes specify that the line has to have a "full size cleanout" up to 4" and a 4" cleanout MINIMUM for larger pipes. Therefore we usually only install 4" ones and it is not a question of cost, it is one of practicality. Most lines can be cleaned through a 4" cleanout.

    Plumbing Videos?

WHAT do you want the video to show? Plumbing is a vast range of tasks. Some of the videos you will find are more of a "how not to do it", regardless of what they meant to show.

Can someone recomend to me a good "homeowner plumbing snake"

If this is for the main line, and not a shower or sink drain, there is NO inexpensive, homeowner grade snake. Mine cost $900.00 20 years ago.

    Crust on water heater pipes?

No, it is because that is the only one with leaking pipes.

    Roots in the sewage line.

The cost will depend on how long it takes to clear the line, and you cannot tell that ahead of time.

    Relocate boiler water lines

Unless you plan to remove ALL the 3" pipe, you might not want to do it, because you will not find ANY PEX large enough to supply the system. I assume it has a circulation pump, although systems with that size pipe and age did not have one originally.

    Expansion tank

That may be a "standard" drawing, but I see at least 8 items that would seldom be in the average water heater installation.

    Stuck Auger Bit in Pipe

If it stuck tight enough to break off, there is probably no way to snag it and retrieve it. THerefore, you will have to locate it and dig the pipe out.
