How do I get something Certified?

Thank Frodo, I have actually looked into the matter and it seems IAPMO does just the job we are looking for. Is this a positive alternative?

How do I get something Certified?

So a friend of mine is having some issues with a product he has just invested some money in. The radiators is imported from overseas and it seems to be certified for usage in Europe and China. What are the proper steps to take to not only certify the item in the U.S., But to also figure out...

Air in pipes after water tx backwash

I'm assuming the lack of an air vent would cause these terrible noises. Does it sound like a hammer is beating your pipes? Your most likely missing a water hammer arrestor in certain parts of your system.

Seems about right to me fellas. Thank you all once again for winning my debate in good fashion. Can't wait to prove this guy wrong. Gas Lines With PEX

So I have been arguing with someone for a few days now about the inability to use PEX tubing with gas lines. The other party is clearly insisting that not only is this just, but it is legal. I don't recall reading of any standards being published allowing PEX tubing to be used in these types of...

    New Boiler?

With a 25 year difference in boilers you're looking at a massive jump in efficiency. Boilers produced in the early 90's mostly had efficiency rating of 60-70%. The new boilers being produced today are mostly in the 90 percentile. You will be saving money in the long run without a doubt.

    Types of boilers usage percentages.

Hey everyone, I started a pretty big debate with one of my friends and we're arguing about percentage amount of U.S. households using different types of boilers such as natural gas, oil, electric, propane, and wood. Does anyone here know estimated percentages of their uses. For example I know...

    client horror stories

It's your perception of these people that makes you believe that they don't have that money. They're simply taking advantage of any situation they can to save that money. The people who don't splurge on unnecessary BS are the ones who've learned to save a dime. My point was you can almost always...

Is it ok to run a dishwasher when a sink is clogged?

Never make that mistake. Why don't you just unclog the sink in the first place instead of trying to go around it?

Toilet clearance depends on what "in front of" means

If everything is structured properly and there is no safety hazards I don't see why it would be a big problem. Just make sure you do it properly, it should barely be noticeable.

    Plumber's Problems

lol Yes, and pretty soon these robots will advance to the point of being experienced plumbers, while doing the work for free; cause face it, robots don't need money. All that will do is send every experienced plumber out of business, and meet the plots of a few big time Hollywood movies! lol

    Ove Toilet - flange bolts

Never understood how a company stays in business with such horrible performance on their products. It's as if the toilet must be installed first, then the walls placed around it.
