    Need to cap a 1 1/4 inch threaded pvc pipe

    I need to cap a 1 1/4 inch pvc pipe that has male threads. This is part of an indoor residential drain. I see caps on the web that are schedule 40 and schedule 80, but I don't know if either of these will work. Any ideas? Help would be very appreciated.
