Basement underground and vent plans for 2 baths and kitchen.

I am a person. Sorry for the delay. I appreciate your response. Since my last post, there are a few things I had changed. Please see drawing below. - I removed the double wyes. I figured using single wyes would help get my pitch better for each fixture. - Instead of wet venting both...

Basement underground and vent plans for 2 baths and kitchen.

Hello all. I know there are numerous ways to pipe and vent this, but this is what I have and paid for, so I would appreciate if we don't veer off course too much, but rather build from what is here. I am here because I want to know if there are any errors or concerns with this plan before I...

Liberty pump for 2 full basement bathrooms and a kitchen sink

Yes I think I remember you saying the inlet on the Liberty basin is shallow. If I remember a spec on one I looked at, I believe it said 5". In my case, the bathroom fixtures are withing 10' so I dont think I'll have an elevation issue. I know what you mean with the cesspool getting that film...

Liberty pump for 2 full basement bathrooms and a kitchen sink

I read a lot about Liberty sewage ejector pumps and hear they are very good. My plumber agrees. He showed me which one he would be installing P382LE41. I believe it simply pumps out up to 2" solids. I'm sure the pump is fine, but after doing further research on their pumps, they also sell...

New layout for basement bathroom drains needed if someone can help.

Thanks guys for the input so far. This is not something I'm doing myself. I do plan to hire a professional. But lets be honest, I've had licensed professionals that suck. I came here to get a little bit of an understanding what kind of layout I should be looking for when the so-called...

New layout for basement bathroom drains needed if someone can help.

Not sure what you mean by slab on grade. Its a basement with a concrete floor below grade. I have to ask because I'm not a plumber, but I have installed welded pipe that I can stand in, so I'm sure I can work with PVC, but I'm just not sure the best way to design it. Yes I hear Liberty is...

New layout for basement bathroom drains needed if someone can help.

Hey guys, I had to change the layout on my drawings but the plumbing should be going in real soon. Can someone please offer a rough drain drawing for this layout with vents? I'm a little confused which way to face the inlet on the sump. Thanks. 2 toilets 2 bath sinks 2 showers 1 kitchen sink...

Is it ok that I did a sink drain this way before I close up with drywall?

Since everyone has time to type a smarta$$ comment but not a solution, I'll answer my own question for the people who are private messaging me. One correct way to do this is: Starting at the stub out, do an immediate left turn street ell into run of a combo fitting. Combo fitting bull end...

Is it ok that I did a sink drain this way before I close up with drywall?

Why search the internet when there are forums for that with built in trolls? Oh wait.....this is a forum, just for that lol.

Is it ok that I did a sink drain this way before I close up with drywall?

As you can see, I have a 2" sink drain here. I didn't think much about it until now. Will this drain work properly since I came into the drain pipe horizontally with a sanitary tee? It drains to the left and pitched ¼" per foot. The verticle pipe to the right is a 2" dry vent that eventually...

Question on the 3 different pvc dwv elbows at home depot.

Oh thank you for that. Good to know.

Question on the 3 different pvc dwv elbows at home depot.

Ok that simplifies things so I don't have to worry about using different ones at different times for the most part. Just curious, why not just use the 3rd(long turn) for turnouts as well?

Question on the 3 different pvc dwv elbows at home depot.

I have 3 different PVC DWV elbows. I know one is for venting because it's a very short sweep and it says vent elbow on it. Of the other two, one is just labeled 90 degree elbow and the other is labeled long turn 90 degree elbow. In what instances do I use either or? I'm thinking the left one...

    Apline Burnham condensate boiler flush/conditioning.

So, about 2015 I installed this boiler. At that time I never put any conditioner in it. In 2017 I did the Fernox 3 cleaner and then the Fernox F1 conditioner. I read that the Fernox F1 will last for about 5 years so it looks like a good time to repeat since I have to cut and reroute some pex...

    Pex tool recommendation.

I see so many on the market and assume some are better than others and it's confusing. I was looking to go with those stainless steel rings that Home Depot sells, so I guess I would need a tool for those. What's a good one to get and to have on hand? I need to move a few things in basement...

Non-submersible pump for below grade toilet.

Thanks for your time and help. Not to confuse things further, I think I have a better sketch after gathering what I think you're saying. Will this be good? The problem I see in this sketch is that I'm not sure I can get the "no more than 3' to a vent" rule with the showers. The shower drains...

Non-submersible pump for below grade toilet.

    1) Oh yea, I forgot the vent for the other shower. But the shower near the laundry I have a vent there. Are you saying it can not share the laundry vent? 2) The 3" vent was meant for the toilets. I'm not sure if you saw that. But either way, I'm confused by what you mean connecting them...

Non-submersible pump for below grade toilet.

Thanks guys. I'm probably going to go with the submerged like everyone else.. I was thinking since I was doing all the underground for the bathroom, I might as well rough for a second bath. To make things simple, I did a back to back mirror image. I'm most likely wrong with my diagram, but...

Non-submersible pump for below grade toilet.

Thanks. I have stated that I would in fact have a sump/pit with the plan I had in mind. The difference is I wanted the pump outside the pit as opposed to inside it. Thank you for your advice.

Non-submersible pump for below grade toilet.

Thank you. I really appreciate the response. I plan to have a panless shower. What I meant earlier is I saw some systems where the toilet sits on some sort of tub. Yes I've seen the saniflow systems. The idea sounds pretty cool, but I do not like the way they look still. The toilets look...
