Has anyone used a LAKOS Twist II Clean Filter?

I believe Claude Laval still owns the LAKOS company and all their products. And I believe the TwistIIClean filter works/cleans quite differently than the other filters that came before it from other companies (Vu-Flow and others). I think you need to depressurize the system to clean the filter...

Has anyone used a LAKOS Twist II Clean Filter?

105 microns is pretty fine mesh, and this appears to be a pretty good product, based upon testimonials I have read from installers and homeowners who previously chose other options. I think it won some award for being one of the best new products of 2011 at the World Ag Expo in California a few...

Well Water has excessive amount of sediment in it!

Sounds like a little mini-sand media filter. Wouldn't a strainer with the right mesh screen accomplish the same thing?

    Marketing Your Local Business

Yea..I feel for you. Harder to find a tech-savvy person you can trust than a plumber you can trust. But some of the tools are getting easier to use all the time. Marketing Your Local Business

Facebook isn't for everyone, but if most of your customers come from the same geographic area in which you live, and you do quality work, I would highly recommend a Facebook page for your business. Much easier and cheaper to set up than a website, Facebook has the advantage of letting your...

    DIY small Lawn sprinkler system

You typically want to run the pvc pipe into a manifold that is operated by your timer. I believe standard is 1 inch pvc. If you wish to feed the pvc directly from a hose or outside water tap, I guess you could use a female faucet adapter with a PVC fitting with female thread on one end...

goulds pump problem or well problem?

I believe jet pumps can only work well when water table is less than 30 feet below surface, so you may want to ask some neighbors how deep their pumps are set, or if they have jet pumps as well.

Well Water has excessive amount of sediment in it!

Really hard to say. Some well drillers would say that a competently-screened well should never allow sand or sediment inside the casing. I dunno about that -- there are places in Texas where the strata is just plain sandy and breaks down over time, allowing sand and sediment into the well...

    Submersible pump

I believe a submersible dry pit pump serves to remove all the water from the well or pit. It has the ability the run dry for periods without harm to the unit. A submersible wet pit pump is one in which the pump must stay submerged in water to maintain proper cooling and operation, and the...
