    Cut pipe at boiler. Add union. Any removable object, boiler for instance should have a union for quick removal. And to get tight joints.     Don't understand the system. If your willing to cool it down with other methods, y not just turn boiler to lower temp. Exchanger, 3way valve??explain better and sure I or anybody else could help
