What to do on a under slab leak?

Thanks for the tips here, you guys. I think I will take your advice, Chris since from examining the way the leak is pouring out from under the slab seems to be within the first foot or two from the edge of the slab (more than likely from the freeze since this struck in freezing cold weather.)...

What to do on a under slab leak?

We are in Texas where s-o-g is commonly used so yes. As for a picture, there's nothing to photograph yet since there's nothing to show with all the leaking occurring under the house soon as we cut the main water line on at the meter. What happens is we cut the main water line on and the leak...

What to do on a under slab leak?

We have an under the slab leak more than likely from pipe freeze this Winter. I don't think the leak goes that far underneath the slab. Is it possible to fix such leaks without having to use a jackhammer to go through the slab? Or does the slab actually cover the pipe up from when they...

Is this for the city or us?

We already know we had a leak. That was the reason we shut the water off to begin with. But no this particular leak referred to here is leaking at the city's overly corroded shut off valve. Once you shut the water off, it's not suppose to leak and the dial is not suppose to turn.

Is this for the city or us?

What is this 2nd copper water pipe for?

It's actually on all pipes, hot pipe and the cold pipe to the bath tub, the toilet, the cold pipe and the hot pipe going that the washer hooks up to, and the cold pipe that goes into the hot water heater. So is this pipe necessary? It seems to take a good 3 minutes just to get hot water to the...

What is this 2nd copper water pipe for?

For every fixture in the house (sink, toilet, wash machine, hot nozzle to the bath tub, cold nozzle to the bathtub, etc) there is a 2nd pipe on the side coming out of the slab and going into the pipe that leads to the fixture. What is this pipe for? Does it have a name? What does it hook to...
