    persistent drain issues

I would suggest having a sewer camera run through the plumbing lines which will identify where and what the issues are. The line could just need sewer jetting since it probably has a great deal of cast iron scale built up in it.

You aren't seeing anything on the cold side at all?

Hot water in cold water lines

What part of the county do you live in? Have you noticed running out of hot water when taking showers, etc.? I have seen this symptom when there has been a leak under the concrete which heats up the cold water lines.

    Plumbing license test

Schools like Camm Tech can gaurantee you pass the test. They obviously charge a fee, but they teach you how to take the test. I have had several friends go down this road with much success at the end of it.

    Relocating Toilet in Cement Slab

Looks like you did a great job! Did you ensure to put the proper pitch in the line since it was moved? You want to ensure that you don't have any bellies in the line when you get done.

Making a Jetter by using a pressure washer?

We have a 24hp honda with a comet pump that we use as a jetter. It an also be used as a pressure washer. What we find VERY helpful while jetting is that we can turn a ball valve on the pump and the jetter will pulsate. For some reason the pulsating helps us to go further in the lines as well as...

    Septic Tank Smell - Interior

You may need to put some more foam back if after you removed it you are experiencing the smell.

DONT ever buy/install Glacier Bay 3 handle Valves

Agreed! We have had several problems with Glacier Bay products that leak after we haver had our plumber install them. This causes problems for the homeonwer as in most cases they have usually just had a new cabinet installed and the new faucet leaks onto the new cabinet.

    Shower drain leaking

Great Job man! Way to go with replacing the drain. :)

Low water pressure from kitchen faucet until i turn on hose sprayer

Did you just put the faucet in? If not, i would recommend replacing the entire thing unless it's relatively new. It's just about the same work to repair it as it's going to be to fix it.

Can't access valve on bathroom sink!?!

I would replace the entire faucet... They aren't very expensive.. Might save more time and headache in the long run trying to "fix" this one!

Can't access valve on bathroom sink!?!

Can you get to the bottom of the valve? Is that a pedestal sink that it is attached to?

awful sewer gas smell with rain

You need to smoke test the property to find out where the sewer gas is coming from. An easy way to do this is to get some smoke bombs and pump the smoke into your sewer system using a shop vac in reverse mode.

Kitchen sink running out roof overflow

Do you have a garbage disposal installed that you can use to help grind up some of the things you put down the sink?

    I hear my nieghbor flush

Where exactly do you hear the flush? In the tub drain itself or in the wall near the tub?

Kitchen sink running out roof overflow

Sounds like you need a longer snake! They also make camera's which go down the vent pipe to see if there is a problem under your house that is causing these clogs. Normal pipes should not clog unless there is an issue under the house, or if things are put down the pipes that shouldn't be put...

    Broken PVC Fix Suggestion

The only right way to fix that problem is going to be to open up the drywall and install a new 3 way fitting on the vent stack. The vent stack is the pipe that is going from floor to roof inside the wall. You can get yourself a couple of fernco's (rubber fittings with clamps on the ends) in...

What brand of shovels do you guys use?

We only use Ridgid shovels. We are constantly digging here in Florida and any of the wooden handle shovels we have tried have always broken. We have had good luck with the Ridgid brand shovels so far. Even though they are a little expensive, they seem to hold up over time.
